For whatever reasons we all had starting our Master's program at the University of Guam, it was our choice to do so. Our paths crossed and life is better because of the choice we made.
Looking back at the past two years, we have accomplished so much and we are better individuals. Thank you Kate, Lorna, Lucille and Sheila for being the "Inner Circle" that I needed the most. I am so proud to call you my friends and to have shared this wonderful experience with all of you. Thank you Dr. Stoicovy and Dr. Rivera for your guidance and endless encouragement when there were so many times that I wanted to give up.
Lastly, I would like to end with our class motto:
"Each of us must be the change we want to see in the world." Mahatma Gandhi
But you didn't give up and that is all that matters! Our most spirited cheerleader--you did it! I will miss all of you, but like Dorothy said to the scarecrow "I think I will miss you most of all" SNIFF
ReplyDeleteCef,
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome! I encourage you to continue to use the literacy knowledge you've gained to make a difference in the lives of your students! I'm confident that you will continue to make us proud!
All the best,
Dr. Rivera
You're definitely right about "our decision" and all that we have encountered are a result of our decisions. It's been a pleasure to have met you this semester!
ReplyDeleteTHANKS AGAIN FOR THE GIFT!!! THAT WAS TOO SWEET OF YOU!!!
Well said! Here we are 9 and half years later. We can honestly say, WE DID IT! Congratulations to all of us. Lastly, thank you for your wonderful gift. It will be something to remind me of you every time I see it on my desk. Thank you again!
