A child can only have a meaningful learning experience when teachers nurture and guide the child. Many times, it is the simple lessons that the student remembers and understands which becomes a life long lesson.
From my own tutoring sessions, I think that Andrew learned more about the reading strategies using simple stories or articles. For him, it comes easy for him to understand and remember. Hopefully it will help him in his reading and eventually develop a great love for reading!
This past semester has been a fun and enjoyable one! As a cohort of graduate students, I think we have learned so much but I think we have gained more in lasting friendships! Thank you, inner circle friends for a great semester!

Indeed, I have said many times, you all have made my experience on Guam worthwhile and I will take a bit of each of you with me back to the mainland. If any of you find yourselves with an opportunity to visit D.C. you better let me know so we can get together!!!

ReplyDeleteI once was the 'other classmate' who would be cheering the 'Inner Circle' on during graduation. Now, I am walking along side. The open arms and welcoming friendships of each one of you has made this last semester a memorable and meaningful one. It is an experience that I will never forget! THANK YOU!!!
