Welcome to another semester of hard work!
Up, up, up and away we go....This has to be a favorite graphic...It always reminds me of the purpose of our pursuit of completing the graduate program...It's may be a struggle for us but with our diligence and a tenacious attitude, we will succeed.
Quote: "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." -- Benjamin Franklin
In any aspect, an effective teaching tool is to have the learner touch, feel, taste, smell, hear, and see what is being taught. The learning becomes meaningful and authentic! As educators, we must consider the varying learning styles to meet the students' needs and their success!
I loved your quote Lorna and it's interpretation. It touches on everything we have learned in the language and literacy program about being effective and inspiring educators.

This picture speaks a thousand words and goes well with your quote. It holds so much meaning that we all can relate to - "growth" in our lives, families, work, school, and ambitions. Involving the learner results in a meaningful lesson learned. Beautiful quote and interpretation.

Another well received interpretation from the master of all deep thinkers. I love the clipart. This should be in our reading lab if we ever go back.
